Jane Street's NYC sales and trading interns work alongside its Sales people and Sales-Traders, learning how it covers institutional clients, and attend internal classes on the fundamentals of finance and trading. Galaxy's New York interns support its trading team on projects such as market and token analyses, scripting and automation, and trading strategies, and help its sales team with market color reports and trade ideas.

The New York trading internships we checked for summer 2027 take students graduating in late 2027 or in 2028, in a bachelor's degree or, at some firms, a master's.
Citi's Markets Sales and Trading Summer Analyst takes bachelor's students graduating in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028 with a GPA of 3.3 or above. Galaxy takes undergraduate or master's students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028; its master's students must have under two years of relevant full-time work experience, and PhD and JD students are not eligible. Jane Street's NYC Sales and Trading Internship asks for students planning to graduate in 2028 and studying for a bachelor's or master's degree.
