Successful candidates move to an in-person Assessment Centre or Super Day, typically competency assessments, a case study and a technical interview, held on-campus for India. Outcomes are communicated by phone within a week, after which candidates have two weeks to respond to an offer. The pre-interview assessment battery is gated and consumes real preparation time before any human conversation, so candidates running several bulge-bracket processes typically have multiple recorded video stages queued in parallel.

Deutsche Bank's students and graduates portal groups its early-careers offer into three tracks:

• Insight Programmes – short pre-internship events, including the four-day Spring into Banking in the UK & Ireland for first-year (three-year degree) or second-year (four-year degree) students, with parallel insight events in Germany, Asia-Pacific and the US
• Internship Programme – penultimate-year students with no more than 12 months of full-time work experience, across divisions including the Investment Bank, Corporate Bank, Private Bank, Technology Data & Innovation, and DWS
• Graduate Programme – a year-long programme starting in July, open to those completing studies between 1 January 2025 and 31 July 2026 (for the July 2026 cohort), across the same divisional set

Successful Spring into Banking participants gain early access to the Summer Internship Programme interview process, so an insight-stage offer collapses two ordinarily separate applications, a year apart, into a single funnel.

The programme eligibility page adds that the firm aims to hire from local talent pools wherever possible, though "in some countries, we do accept international applications," and that students studying overseas or on exchange remain eligible to apply. Sponsorship is therefore handled per location rather than under a single global policy: international applicants should treat each geography as a separate sponsorship question, since a route that works for one office tells you nothing about another.
