• Summer Internship (EMEA, London): 10 weeks for second-year students (third year on four-year courses), opening with a week of technical training before rotations in two business areas; a proven route into the full-time Analyst Programme.
• Apprenticeship Programme (EMEA): operations and technology tracks for school leavers.
• Work Experience Programme (EMEA): one week for Year 12 and 13 students.
• Summer Analyst Program (Americas, primarily New York, with San Francisco and Los Angeles for select corporate banking and project finance teams): 10 weeks across Corporate Investment Banking & Markets, Technology, Risk Management, Finance & Strategy, Internal Audit, Operations, Human Resources and Global Financial Crimes.

The 18-month UK analyst length and the corporate-banking-led divisional shape mean MUFG is a different bet from a US bulge-bracket two-year IB programme: shorter commitment, broader exposure, and a path that tilts toward relationship banking rather than M&A.

The US gate is hard: candidates on F-1 OPT or CPT should treat MUFG Americas internships and entry-level analyst roles as closed and route applications to London or Asia-Pacific offices instead, where work-authorisation rules are governed by local visa regimes.
