Of the 45 UK firms we follow, 33 have posted a spring week or insight programme for 2027 so far. Last season, half of the 9 UK firms with an opening on record opened between 18 September 2025 and 15 December 2025. A UK listing then ran a median of 72 days before it was no longer listed, and 12 of this season's are no longer listed already. HSBC's page gives its Sheffield programmes a closing date of 2 December 2026 and its Birmingham programme 6 December 2026.

Where do spring weeks run in the UK outside London?

Which year of university can apply for a spring week in the UK?

UK spring weeks are mostly for students two years from graduating: first-years on a three-year degree, or second-years on a four-year one.

The ICAS Foundation gives that as the general rule across its spring 2027 insight list. UBS sets it for its EMEA Spring Insight Program, a four-day programme, and BNP Paribas takes first-year undergraduates or those in the second year of a four-year course. J.P. Morgan words it by career start: its Spring Insights are for students planning to start their full-time career in two years' time.
