The named tracks the firm has run for the 2026 intake are:

• Energy & Commodities Trainee Broker Graduate Programme (London): a 5-month structured programme starting in June at the firm's Verde office near Victoria, with desk rotations across oil, gas, power, renewables, ferrous and base metals, precious metals, soft commodities and coal; on completion, assessed for a permanent broker seat
• Finance Summer Internship (London): a 10-week internship running June to August, scoped to penultimate-year students
• Liquidnet Technology Internship: a software-engineering internship at Liquidnet, based in London or Cyprus

The broker programme is the path most distinctive to the firm. It is graduate-only (final-year students), the recruiting decision lands at an in-person assessment centre, and TP ICAP has run those assessment centres in waves between January and March before the June intake. A candidate routing into broking is committing to that single in-person decision day rather than a multi-stage screen-then-onsite loop.

Day-to-day, that places brokers between banks, hedge funds and energy firms in OTC markets – interest rates, credit, FX and commodities – while data work is routed through Parameta Solutions. For an early-career candidate, the franchise is concrete and product-specific rather than league-table generalist: a broker seat here sits closer to the deal flow in energy, rates or credit than a same-name role at a universal investment bank.
