The Opportunity

As a Test Centre Administrator, you will be a vital part of our worldwide, life-changing organization, collaborating with talented and motivated colleagues who share our passion for supporting customers throughout their learning and assessment journey.

This exciting role involves supporting a diverse range of candidates visiting our Pearson VUE Test Centres to complete exams or tests. The Test Centre Administrator is responsible for ensuring secure exam/test delivery while providing exceptional customer service in a comfortable, friendly environment.

Position Details

  • Minimum required work commitment: 8.25 hours per week.
  • This is a limited-term position for 3 months.
  • Pay rate: £14.80/hour, paid monthly.
  • Availability required: Monday to Saturday, including late nights.

Responsibilities

In this important position, you will be required to:

  • Welcome, greet, and check-in customers/test-taking candidates.
  • Comply strictly with all examination testing security procedures and company policies using sound judgment.
  • Verify customer/candidate personal identification documents and clearly explain the exam testing process and rules.
  • Proctor or invigilate candidates while they are completing their exam or test.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in the Test Centre by liaising with internal departments, such as IT.
  • Perform essential housekeeping duties, including vacuuming floors and sanitizing keyboards/workstations as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

We are looking for a friendly, professional team-player who can help people during a very important life event while diligently protecting the integrity of the Pearson VUE exam process. Required qualifications include:

  • School qualifications in English and Mathematics.
  • Flexibility to work different days and times.
  • Comfort working in a quiet testing environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, including the ability to monitor for restricted behavior and notice details from a distance.
  • Ability to remain seated for long periods and escort candidates to and from the exam/testing room.

It would be an advantage to have prior experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
