Entry-level apprentices complete a combined "OneStop" assessment that merges the immersive and job-simulation stages into one sitting. The loop is back-loaded by the prepared-topic exercise: preparation for that single conversation is a real block of time that has to be slotted alongside whatever other live applications a candidate is running.

Deloitte UK publishes several distinct early-careers programmes, each tied to a stage of education:

• Graduate Programme: permanent entry across Audit & Assurance, Consulting, Cyber, Legal, Tax, Risk Advisory, Technology, Actuarial, Real Estate and enabling functions, in multiple UK locations
• Summer Vacation Scheme: 4 to 6 weeks for penultimate-year undergraduates (or master's entrants) with a 2:1 prediction, across the same business areas
• Industrial Placement: 12-month placement for students whose degree requires one
• BrightStart Apprenticeship: 15 months to 4 years for school-leavers with 104+ UCAS points, across most service lines
• Entry Level Apprenticeship: business support, finance and audit roles in Cardiff and Newcastle for school-leavers
• Spring into Deloitte: a 2-day insight for first-year undergraduates in Manchester or London
• Year-12 insight programmes – ASPIRE, Career Shapers (Black Talent; Women in Finance) – and the self-paced Explore Work for Years 9 to 11

Eligibility is set by stage of study rather than by candidate preference, so the choice of which Deloitte programme to apply to is largely determined by what year of school or university the candidate is in.

For a candidate without UK working rights, this is a gate: it narrows the set of Deloitte UK programmes realistically open before any other application choice is made, and the eligibility check has to happen at the advert stage of every role rather than at firm level.

Selection across these runs through the same five-stage assessment, so a candidate accumulates repeatable preparation rather than starting cold at each new stage. Prioritising Deloitte against a peer Big Four firm is therefore less a question of whether an entry exists at the candidate's stage of study and more a question of which service line – Audit & Assurance, Consulting, Tax, Risk Advisory, Technology, Cyber, Legal, Actuarial or Real Estate – suits their interests.
