You’re Eligible to Apply If You:

• Are an undergraduate currently pursuing a degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 – June 2028.
• Are on track to achieve a minimum of 2:1 from an accredited University.
• Are business proficient in English.

See Yourself as a Private Strategies Analyst Intern:

PIMCO has developed a significant presence in alternative credit and private investment strategies, including strategies that seek to identify value primarily in listed securities using fundamental and capital structure analysis, and strategies that seek to privately finance the debt and equity needs of companies, asset holders, and origination platforms. PIMCO invests globally across commercial and residential real estate and mortgage credit, performing and distressed corporate debt, and specialty finance markets.

As an intern, you will seek to identify operational opportunities and challenges of alternative credit and private strategy investments. You will work alongside seasoned associates and Portfolio Managers, focusing on financial modeling and qualitative analysis to evaluate performance and alternative paths for under-performing positions. Throughout the summer, you will monitor the performance of positions, identify challenges, and help address them.

The PIMCO Internship Experience:

• The PIMCO Internship is a 10-week program running from early June to mid-August, with the expectation that you are available for the full duration.
• During Week 1, you will participate in PIMCO Fundamentals Training to build skills, knowledge, and relationships to support your success.
• Alongside colleagues, participate in PIMCO’s Global Month of Volunteering, developed to heighten the impact of employees’ worldwide volunteer efforts.
• Join a variety of cross-divisional education, networking, and social events.
• Your supervisor, peer mentor, senior leaders, and team will provide guidance and mentorship throughout the summer.
• You will gain hands-on experience with AI-powered tools from day one, supported by training and resources.
• You will receive feedback at mid- and end-of-summer as part of a formal review process tied to your summer goals.
• As a PIMCO intern, you will receive competitive compensation, along with a transition bonus to support relocation to one of our office locations.

What to Expect During the Interview Process:

• After you apply, we will conduct an initial review of your resume.
• If you are selected to move forward, you will complete a cognitive assessment and complete a one-way video interview to showcase your interests, skills, and personality.
• After completing the assessment and one-way video interview, you will participate in a final round of live interviews via video conference. These interviews typically include both behavioral and technical questions.
