2027 Summer Internship – Product Analyst, EMEA

Internship location: PIMCO’s London office

Eligibility

• Undergraduate currently pursuing a degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 – June 2028
• Able to begin full-time employment at a PIMCO office between January 2028 – August 2028
• On track to achieve a minimum 2.1 degree (or equivalent)
• Business proficient in English

Role Overview (Product Analyst)

You will work within the Product Strategy Group, a global team of over 130 professionals responsible for financial market expertise (internally and externally), strategic business management, entrepreneurship, and marketing for a wide range of PIMCO product lines. You’ll gain exposure to financial markets, product design, development and distribution, portfolio analysis, and client communication.

You will work with one or multiple specialty teams that cover specific investment strategies (e.g., Credit, Emerging Markets, Alternatives, etc.). You’ll develop a strong understanding of the business of investment management across different market segments. Responsibilities vary by team but may include:

• Market and economic updates
• Portfolio commentaries
• Client portfolio analytics and investment insights
• Competitor intelligence
• Client presentation materials
• Risk and performance attribution

The PIMCO Internship Experience

• 10-week program running from early June to mid-August, with an expectation that you will be available for the full duration
