2027 Five Arrows Private Equity Long Term Internship - London

Programme Overview

London-based internship with Five Arrows’ Corporate Private Equity business. Duration: 6 months (January 2027 start).

Five Arrows Corporate Private Equity comprises three strategies focused on different segments of the European and North American middle market:

• Five Arrows Principal Investments (FAPI)
• Five Arrows Growth Partners (FAGP)
• Five Arrows Long Term Fund (FALT)

All strategies focus exclusively on Data & Software, Healthcare & Education, and Technology-enabled Business Services. The Corporate Private Equity team comprises 65 investment professionals operating from four offices: London, Paris, New York, and San Francisco.

Five Arrows is the alternative assets arm of Rothschild & Co and manages €26 billion in assets across a range of private equity and private debt strategies.

Responsibilities

• Research industries in which potential targets operate
• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities
• Prepare investment committee memos
• Develop and maintain bespoke financial models
• Assist with deal execution workstreams and monitor existing portfolio companies
• Develop and communicate a point of view on how value is created and what characterises an exceptional business
• Support the team in coordinating due diligence and transaction processes internally and with other advisers
• Develop relationship skills through exposure to senior bankers and investment committee members

Qualifications

• Outstanding academic track record (2:1 or above; obtained or expected)
• Previous experience at a leading investment bank (M&A, Leveraged Finance, ECM), private equity firm, or top-tier strategy consulting firm
