Equity Research Overview

Jefferies’ Global Equity Research effort consists of over 200 analysts covering more than 3,000 stocks from research centers across the globe. Coverage includes Economics & Strategy, Business Services, Consumer, Energy, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Industrials, Internet and Interactive Entertainment, Maritime, Media, Metals & Mining, MLPs, REITs, Technology, Telecommunications, Travel & Leisure, and Utilities.

Role Overview

The Equity Research team conducts fundamental research on companies across these industries, including collecting and analyzing data and researching suppliers, vendors, and customers.

Summer interns in the Equity Research program work for a Senior Equity Research Analyst and are involved in due diligence, financial modeling, and writing research reports, among other duties.

Qualifications

  • Strong academic background and enrollment in your penultimate year of study.
  • Anticipated graduation date: Spring/Summer 2028.
  • Accounting or finance background may be helpful, but Jefferies hires interns from a variety of degree disciplines.
