Jefferies Human Resources Summer Analyst – New York (Generalist)
Jefferies Human Resources Summer Analyst interns have the unique opportunity to gain insight into a global, client-focused investment bank and experience an entrepreneurial environment where employees can make an immediate impact and are rewarded for performance. Interns are exposed to Jefferies’ full range of products and leading industry expertise, and will benefit from a lean team structure that provides hands-on experience and the chance to build lasting relationships with peers and senior professionals.
Following an enriching orientation program, interns begin working on day-to-day responsibilities with support from colleagues serving as instructors and mentors. Interns also receive formal performance reviews. In addition to research, analysis, and recommendations, interns are encouraged to think creatively, provide input, and add value from day one. As with everyone at Jefferies, interns are expected to pursue their projects with excellence, a collaborative spirit, and the highest levels of integrity.

- Expected graduation between December 2027 – June 2028 and December 2028 – June 2029
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong team player who excels working independently and collaboratively

Work With Us – Human Resources
Jefferies is seeking a Human Resources Intern to work across various HR areas. HR areas may include Training & Development, Inclusion and Engagement, and HR Business Partner. The intern will gain insight into a global, client-focused investment bank and experience an entrepreneurial environment where employees can make an immediate impact.
The Training and Development team is responsible for firmwide global training as well as mental and physical well-being initiatives. The Community and Engagement team supports people-focused initiatives that recruit, develop, and retain employees across Jefferies, while creating an inclusive culture where all employees can succeed. The HR Business Partner team supports, advises, and provides a variety of HR services to the business globally.

Compensation
The salary for this role is $75,000 (pro-rated for the 10-week internship program).
