In the Global Capital Markets division, we offer global expertise in market analysis and advisory and capital-raising services for corporations, institutions, and governments. We originate, structure and execute public and private placements of equity and equity-linked securities, investment-grade and non-investment-grade debt, and related products.

Internship Programs

Our Industrial Placement & Summer Analyst program gives candidates the opportunity to participate in an immersive orientation and learn about our culture, as well as the benefits and responsibilities of being a member of the Firm. You will be placed in one or more of our main product groups. In addition, Industrial Placement & Summer Analysts have opportunities to exchange ideas and network with peers, mentors, and senior managers. Along the way, you will obtain a strong foundation in financial analysis and deal execution. Our internship programs are designed to provide a realistic view of Global Capital Markets by having the interns assume the functions of Full-Time Analysts.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work in one or more of our main product groups, building a strong foundation of financial skills and a solid understanding of the market.
• Develop a foundational understanding of capital markets products, including equities, fixed income instruments, and derivatives used for financing and risk management, through structured training and on-the-job exposure.
• Support the origination, structuring, marketing, and execution of equity and debt capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, and fixed income issuances, working closely with senior bankers and cross-functional teams.
• Conduct financial, market, and investor analysis, including market updates, comparable transaction analysis, and assessment of macroeconomic and capital markets trends to support the business.
• Assist in the preparation of client-facing materials, such as pitch books, transaction presentations, marketing documents, and internal briefing notes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work with internal stakeholders across Sales & Trading, Syndicate, Research, Legal, Risk, and Operations to ensure effective coordination and timely execution of transactions.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, professionalism, and work ethic in a fast-paced environment, contributing to multiple workstreams and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills

• You are pursuing an undergraduate Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a graduation date between October 2027 and July 2028.
• Knowledge of and a keen interest in finance.
• Analytical, adaptive, multi-tasker, team player; possess a strong work ethic and leadership skills.
• Extraordinarily high level of motivation and attention to detail.
• Commercial instinct and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required.

Internship Period

• Industrial Placement Program: 6 months between January and July 2027.
• Summer Analyst Program: 10 weeks between June and August 2027.
