Job Summary

Participate in the execution and management of existing transactions and assist in implementing new transactions funded in the Asset Backed Commercial Paper conduit and the bank’s balance sheet.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare credit analyses including financial modeling of underlying portfolio performance across asset classes (auto loan and lease, trade receivables, aircraft leasing, etc.) and coordinate the credit process with the credit department.
• Participate in structuring and execution of existing securitization transactions funded in the term Asset Backed Security or Asset Backed Commercial Paper markets, and assist with new transactions as needed.
• Negotiate and liaise on key terms with external parties including clients, lawyers, and other banks.
• Monitor transaction performance trends for the existing conduit book and alert the Transaction Manager if any covenant non-compliance issues arise.
• At Transaction Renewal, prepare cash flow models to confirm rating attachment and maintain/audit client models for assigned deals.
• Prepare presentations and pitch books for clients as required.
• Participate in on-site due diligence reviews and client visits as required.
• Contribute to special projects as required.
• Coordinate and execute transaction booking processes.
• Management and Reporting: Report to the Transaction Managers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with peers within CACIB and with bank clients.
• Engage with internal teams (Credit, Legal, Compliance, IT/Projects) and external contacts (clients, law firms, other banks, rating agencies, auditors).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Postgraduate education, Series 7, 79, and 63 a plus).
• Experience: 0-2 years in a banking environment, with client interaction, presenting credit applications/proposals; 1-2 years securitization experience preferred.
• Skills & Competencies:
  • Team spirit and ability to work in an international environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including VBA and Access.
  • Cash flow modeling and programming skills.
  • Strong presentation and writing skills.
  • Fluent English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Good time management.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000
