Evercore Private Capital Advisory (PCA) Summer Analyst Program – New York

Evercore’s Private Capital Advisory (“PCA”) group provides independent advice and execution services to leading private equity sponsors and institutional investors across the private capital spectrum, including (i) sponsor-driven private equity fund recapitalizations, (ii) sales of portfolios of private assets, (iii) seeded capital raises, and (iv) management team spin-outs. PCA’s clients include private equity sponsors, financial institutions, asset managers, pension funds, endowments, foundations, and family offices seeking to utilize the secondary private equity market. PCA focuses on a diverse range of asset types, including buyout, venture, credit, real estate, energy, and infrastructure.

The Evercore Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week program designed to provide highly motivated undergraduate candidates with a representative experience of a PCA analyst. PCA is seeking intelligent, mature individuals with the desire and flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment and the ability to learn on the job.

Vertical Options

Interested candidates must rank which vertical within PCA they would like to focus on:

• GP Private Equity: Work with the general partner (“GP”) team on providing strategic advisory services to financial sponsors across a variety of portfolio and fund management objectives.
• GP Private Credit: Work with the general partner (“GP”) team on providing strategic advisory services to credit managers.
• LP: Work with the limited partner (“LP”) team on advising LPs on sales of portfolios of private assets. The LP team works with a wide variety of LPs on liquidity solutions, including university endowments, foundations, public and corporate pensions, family offices, and asset managers.
• SCS (Structured Capital Solutions): Work with the Structured Capital Solutions (“SCS”) team on employing various forms of structured asset-backed security technologies to create innovative capital and liquidity solutions for private markets issuers and investors.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029
• Finance, Accounting, or Economics major (preferred)
• Interest in pursuing a career in the secondaries industry
• Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a loyal team environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Deep commitment to personal excellence with a proven track record of a strong work ethic
