Business Area

Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With around 254 branches and automated banking centres, including around 50 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population in Hong Kong while offering an extensive range of products to our valued customers.

Position

We are seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Prestige Private Investment Consultant.

Principal Responsibilities

• Conduct customer portfolio analysis to identify cross-selling investment product opportunities.
• Leverage wealth management solutions such as bonds, structured products and mutual funds to help high-net-worth (HNW) customers achieve their financial goals by matching their risk appetite.
• Facilitate and implement strategies to uplift sales productivity and expand investment sales for the HNW segment.
• Achieve sales targets by collaborating with Prestige Private CRM and other Customer Relationship Managers to conduct pre-case studies, share sales tactics on investment products, and carry out joint-call activities proactively.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and respond positively to customer requests.
• Support branch sales by sharing sales tactics and providing briefing sessions on investment products.
• Conduct tele-prospecting to explore new business opportunities, provide follow-through services to customers, update compliance requirements, and provide market updates to sales staff.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration or related disciplines; professional qualifications such as CFA, CFP or CFMP are an advantage.
• Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
• Pass the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination and IIQE and fulfill the competency requirements to carry out regulated activities as defined under the Securities and Futures Ordinance.
• Proven experience in retail banking with a minimum of 1 year in the role of Investment Consultant and strong knowledge of investment products.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sound investment consultation and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
• Customer-centric mindset and ability to manage complex interactions effectively.
• Strong situational awareness, a strong desire to learn, and the ability to work in an Agile environment.
• High level of customer-centricity and dedication to delivering exceptional quality services for customers.
• Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under HKIB would be an advantage.
