About the Team

In International Wealth Management, we deliver best-in-class product offerings and a unified, solutions-led coverage effort for our clients, achieving sustainable growth that contributes positively to the Nomura Group. As the largest wealth manager in Japan, we have a high ambition to build on Wealth Management business in Asia and the Middle East and extend that expertise to other global wealth management centers.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, supporting clients through all business and life cycles.
  • Work closely with Global Markets and Investment Banking to provide disciplined and seamless business connectivity across our well-integrated Wholesale platform.

About the Program

As part of our Summer Internship Program, you will gain first-hand experience and insights into a career in wealth management. You will have the opportunity to learn about our culture, acquire valuable on-the-job training, and expand your network.

Program details:

  • Start date: June 2027
  • Duration: nine weeks
  • Location: Hong Kong office

You will receive orientation and induction training in the first week, typically including business overview sessions where you will learn more about our products and businesses and meet with representatives across the firm.

You will work closely with experienced professionals or specialists to conduct research, analysis, and develop investment ideas, strategies, and opportunities for our clients. You may be involved in modelling projections of investment returns, formulating presentations, researching new portfolio strategies, and/or supporting projects related to operational processes and the transformation platform as part of a team.

The program will help you discover your strengths and hone your skills and competencies, with the ultimate goal of matching your capabilities to the relevant business area to maximize your career potential. You will be assigned a mentor to support both your goals and ours. Learning and development attachments and training will be an integral part of your work with us. You will also have opportunities to build meaningful networks and associations within the company, participate in extra-curricular activities, and find fulfillment in well-being beyond pure work.

About You

Eligibility

  • Candidates must be available to commit for the entire duration of the internship (June to August 2027).
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
