The Deutsche Bank Internship Program is designed to help you develop your skills through formal training and continuous support. About the Business Division
As Private Bank, we combine Deutsche Bank’s activities in Wealth Management, Private Banking, and Personal Banking into one division. We serve more than 20 million clients globally with over €500 billion in assets under management and close to €9 billion in revenues in 2022. Within Wealth Management, we support wealthy individuals, entrepreneurs, family offices, and foundations in Germany, Europe, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East and Africa with bespoke investment and lending solutions.
We collaborate closely with the Corporate & Investment Bank and DWS to address both the personal and corporate needs of our clients, creating sustainable partnerships and lasting value over time.
Division Specifics — Intern Role
Throughout the summer, you will gain a wide range of practical experience. You will also benefit from training courses, seminars, and networking events. Successful interns will be invited to join the enhanced one-year IPB Program structure, which provides enhanced client focus, clearer career pathing, and structured learning.
The specific tasks you handle will depend on your role within the team. You will be trained by experienced professionals, evolve professionally and personally, and build a strong foundation for your career progression.

- Strong academic record and a passion for helping clients meet their financial goals and navigate a dynamic investment landscape.
- Good numeracy skills are important for some roles, but you do not necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background, as comprehensive training will provide the technical knowledge required.
- Practical interest and/or experience in banking or finance is encouraged (where applicable).
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to work with colleagues across the globe.
- Innovation, engagement, and high emotional intelligence.
- Language skills: English, German, French, or an additional foreign language.
Eligibility — 2027 Internship Program
- Complete your studies (all final exams and coursework) and have no outstanding requirements for graduation between December 1, 2027 and July 31, 2028.
- Be able to work full-time during the 10-week summer internship (June–August 2027), subject to local working legislation.
- Have no more than 12 months of full-time, relevant work experience.
- At this time, Deutsche Bank will only consider applicants who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Deutsche Bank, now or in the future, to retain authorization to work in the United States.

Compensation
The annualized salary for this position is $100,000. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
