Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting senior team members in the origination of new business.
• Executing mandates in respective business lines (financial advisor, arranger, underwriter, agent, etc.) throughout the Asia region.
• Performing financial analysis, research, and modelling for mandate execution (arranging or advisory).
• Conducting research, marketing, and preparing proposals or presentations for prospective clients.
• Supporting the Portfolio Manager with preparing waiver requests and annual reviews.
• Providing general assistance to the EIG Asia team across all commercial, execution, marketing, and reporting/budgeting functions.

Candidate Criteria

Education and Experience

• Minimal Education: Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent.
• Qualification/Specialty: Bachelor/Master Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a relevant discipline.
• Experience Level: 0-2 years (less than 12 months of full-time experience preferred).

• Work Ethic: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic, evolving environment while productively managing stress.
• Client Focus: Task management skills, initiative, and effectiveness leading to bank profitability and client satisfaction in mandate execution.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal, presentation, and influencing skills.

Technical Requirements

• Financial modelling competency using Excel.
• Languages: Excellent written and spoken English; fluent Mandarin is a plus.
