Job Title

Analyst/Associate – Securitization

Job Summary

Participate in the execution and management of existing transactions and support the implementation of new transactions (as required), funded in an Asset Backed Commercial Paper conduit and the bank’s balance sheet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare credit analysis, including financial modeling of underlying portfolio performance and financial modeling across a variety of asset classes (e.g., auto loan and lease, trade receivables, aircraft leasing), and coordinate the credit process with the credit department.
  • Participate in the structuring and execution of existing securitization transactions funded in term Asset Backed Security or Asset Backed Commercial Paper markets and support new transactions (as needed).
  • Support the negotiation and liaison of key terms with external parties, including clients, lawyers, and other banks.
  • Monitor ongoing transaction performance trends for the existing conduit book and alert the related Transaction Manager of any issues related to non-compliance with transaction covenants.
  • At transaction renewal, prepare cash flow models to confirm rating attachment, and maintain and audit client models on an ongoing basis for assigned deals.
  • Prepare presentations and pitch books for clients as required.
  • Participate in on-site due diligence reviews and client visits as required.
  • Contribute to special projects as required.
  • Coordinate and execute transaction booking processes.

Report to the Transaction Managers.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with peers across organizations within Crédit Agricole CIB and with bank clients.

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities

  • Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and internal Compliance requirements, including (but not limited to) the US Compliance Manual and related Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time.
  • Meet Financial Security requirements, including (but not limited to) preventing financial crime and fraud, and fulfill reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
  • Maintain appropriate knowledge to be fully qualified for the role and complete all mandatory training required to attain and maintain competence.

$100k – $140k

Candidate Criteria

Minimal Education Level

  • Bachelor’s degree / BSc degree or equivalent academic qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • Postgraduate education (a plus)

Certifications (a plus)

  • Series 7, 79, and 63

Level of Minimal Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience
  • Experience working in a banking environment, transacting with clients, and presenting credit applications/proposals
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of securitization experience (required)

  • Proficient in Excel, including VBA and Access
  • Good presentation skills
