Mission Overview

You will join Crédit Agricole CIB Americas as an ALM Analyst. The Financial Steering and ALM Division is responsible for the following product lines: Profit and Internal Pricing (PIP), Financial Analysis, and Assets and Liabilities Management (ALM) within Crédit Agricole CIB Americas.

ALM oversees the monitoring and supervision of financial risks (excluding market transactions) within the guidelines set by the Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO). This involves managing various risks, including global interest-rate risk, exchange-rate risk, and liquidity and funding risk spanning more than a year.

The role is also responsible for prudential ratios (solvency ratios applicable to banks), particularly through:

  • Quarterly forecasts of changes in solvency ratios.
  • Developing tools to measure ex-post capital profitability (profitability per customer and capital utilization).
Furthermore, the position ensures compliance with Enhanced Prudential Standards (EPS) liquidity requirements for Foreign Banking Organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Your concrete missions will include:

  • Preparation of Committee materials.
  • Managing liquidity invoicing (Fund Transfer pricing) and maintaining related tools, including assisting front offices with liquidity invoicing rules and costs.
  • Following up on the internal liquidity invoicing process.
  • Updating policies and procedures as necessary and periodically.
  • Daily monitoring of all limits, alert levels, and targets (Funding Dashboard).
  • Liquidity Balance sheet management.
  • Supporting other ALM staff with various topics, including Liquidity Stress Testing when needed.

This position requires coordination and cross-training with other members of the Financial Steering and ALM team (ALM, PIP, and the Financial Analysis team) in New York and globally, as well as with the New York Front Office, Risk, and IT departments.

Candidate Requirements

Mandatory Criteria for VIE Eligibility

  • Must be under 29 years old.
  • Must hold a Master's Degree.
  • Must be an EU citizen.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Postgraduate of a Master's Degree from a University, Business School, or Engineering School, with a specialization in Business or Finance.

Experience: 0 - 2 years of professional experience.

Professional Background: Previous experience in banking is required (preferably in Financial Analysis, Macro Economics, Fixed Income, Risk Management, or Banking).

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of liquidity management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
  • Familiarity with some Python skills is a plus.
  • Fluent in both French and English.
