Internship Opportunity: GCIB APAC Talent Team Intern (GCBDA - TT)
Division/Team: Global Corporate Banking Division for Asia – Talent Team (GCBDA - TT)
Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027
Role Overview
Talent Strategy is a key agenda and the core of GCIB APAC (Global Corporate and Investment Banking, Asia Pacific) Business Strategy. The GCBDA - Talent Team partners closely with Business Heads to drive developmental programs that align Talent Strategy with Business Strategy in GCIB.
The Team drives systematic, proactive talent development programs and embeds a learner environment in GCIB APAC. It promotes coaching and mentoring approaches to performance management, emphasizes engagement, and supports inclusion and diversity. The Team also oversees internship and trainee programs in GCIB APAC—our strategic foundational talent initiatives.
As an intern, you will be part of the GCBDA - Talent Team with exposure to planning, coordinating, and identifying training and development programs for GCIB APAC staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Talent Team in planning and executing learning and talent development programs across GCIB APAC.
- Assist in identifying training interventions and talent retention programs with GCIB APAC staff and leaders.
- Monitor training effectiveness through surveys, feedback, and data analysis, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support the Graduate Trainee Program by reviewing rotation schedules and coordinating any regional assignment(s).
- Assist in executing engagement activities for GCIB Singapore interns.
- Support talent analytics initiatives through data collection, report preparation, and analysis of workforce and talent-related insights using Power BI and Excel.
- Develop engaging communications to promote learning opportunities, talent initiatives, and employee engagement across GCIB APAC.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related discipline, with strong interest and passion in talent management and development.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; knowledge of Power BI, PivotTables, and VLOOKUP is advantageous.
- Proactive team player with good interpersonal communication skills and writing skills.

This internship role is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only.
