Payroll Executive - Business Services Outsourcing

As a Payroll Executive, you will join our Business Services Outsourcing (BSO) team. You will take charge of managing a portfolio of client payrolls, handling around 1,000 headcount. Your expertise in PAYE and NIC legislation will be crucial for ensuring precise payroll management.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Entering starters, leavers, benefits, and allowances into the Payroll database.
• Calculating leavers' pay and statutory payments.
• Processing P45 forms and distributing payslips.
• Running payroll reports and ensuring timely salary payments.
• Uploading FPS and EPS reports to HMRC.
• Responding to client queries and handling HMRC correspondence.
• Assisting with BACS uploads and quality checking payrolls, alongside other administrative duties.

What We're Looking For

You will be someone with:

• Experience of payroll delivery and management.
• A strong understanding and working knowledge of Payroll legislation.
• A qualification with the CIPP in terms of either a Payroll Technician Certificate or Year 1 of the Foundation Degree in Payroll Management completed, or equivalent, would be beneficial but not essential if relevant experience is present.
• The ability to multi-task and prioritize payroll workload with multiple concurrent activities and deadlines.
