What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • AI & Machine Learning: support the development, testing, and enhancement of AI and machine learning models to address business and risk management challenges
  • Quantitative Analytics: perform quantitative analysis and modelling to support risk measurement, monitoring, and business decision-making
  • Data Analytics: analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, generate insights, and support strategic initiatives
  • Business Use Case Evaluation: assist in evaluating AI and advanced analytics use cases to identify opportunities for business value creation and operational improvements
  • Model Development & Testing: support model validation, performance assessment, and refinement activities to improve analytical outcomes
  • Research & Innovation: conduct research on emerging AI, machine learning, and quantitative techniques relevant to financial services and risk management
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: work with business, risk, and technology teams to support the implementation of analytical and AI-driven solutions
  • Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on other analytics, modelling, and innovation initiatives as assigned

Who You Work With

Group Market Risk Management plays a critical role in supporting the bank’s risk management framework and ensuring informed decision-making across financial markets activities. Within the Analytics team, you’ll work alongside quantitative analysts, data scientists, and risk professionals who use advanced analytics, modelling techniques, and emerging technologies to address business challenges and strengthen risk management practices. You’ll gain valuable exposure to how data and AI are transforming the future of financial services.

Who You Are

  • Strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and quantitative analytics
  • Curious, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Proficient in Python and familiar with data analysis techniques

  • Familiarity with derivative pricing concepts would be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
