Overview

Are you interested in sustainability, net zero, carbon neutrality, and sustainable finance? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while assisting clients in reaching their sustainability targets by structuring financing solutions? Are you excited by structuring client deals? Job Description

This is a front office role in the Asian Investment Banking Division (AIBD). You will:

• Assist senior Sustainable Finance team members in promoting Sustainable Finance in APAC, including origination and structuring of Sustainable Finance transactions
• Support business development and marketing initiatives, including analyzing the market, conducting data analysis of client targets, and supporting rating tools
• Develop and enhance products
• Prepare marketing materials, reports, and business management reports
• Support MUFG-led industry events
• Partner with various relationship managers (RMs) and product areas to develop and market Sustainable Finance products
• Gain cross-product experience across Debt Capital Markets, Project Finance, and Transaction Banking from a Sustainable Finance perspective

Job Requirements

Skill Set

• High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Excellent oral and writing skills
• Data analytics skills (comfortable generating a story from numbers)
• Interest or passion for sustainability and/or sustainable finance
• Keen to read research papers and keep up with the latest innovations
• Mandarin language proficiency would be advantageous, as the role may involve supporting Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
