Internship Overview

The Summer Internship Programme is an opportunity to experience what it is like to work at MUFG and determine where you want to take your career. MUFG Bank is currently offering internship opportunities in the Global Operations stream, where you will gain hands-on exposure to the processes and systems that support the bank’s day-to-day activities.

You will work alongside Operations colleagues on assignments involving service delivery, process improvement, data analysis, and operational controls.

What You Will Do

• Support daily operational activities and assist with process documentation, reporting, and data-quality checks.
• Analyse workflow information and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
• Assist with process mapping, testing, issue tracking, and project coordination for operational initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Operations, business, technology, and control functions while developing your problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.

Job Requirements

• Penultimate-year students from a reputable university with strong academic results.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of data analysis, process improvement, or technical tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL, or VBA would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese is essential; fluency in Mandarin would be an advantage.
• Self-motivated with a genuine interest in banking operations, technology, digitalisation, and process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, take ownership, and demonstrate a can-do attitude.
