Job Summary

Support the Greater China Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Originators in their Debt Capital Markets marketing initiatives and ensure smooth execution of mandated transactions in the international bond markets.

The trainee program starts in September 2026. The initial duration is one year, with possible extension up to a total of two years, subject to performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support DCM Originators’ marketing efforts and help ensure smooth execution of Debt Capital Market transactions.
• Provide support for executing debt instruments across the capital structure, including senior unsecured and subordinated debt/capital, for clients in Asia (corporates, banks, and sovereigns across the rating spectrum).
• Analyze market conditions and trends; create and update marketing pitch books and presentations.
• Assist with income, pipeline, and data reporting (GMD/bond business).
• Support the organization of roadshows and signing ceremonies.
• Coordinate with external parties involved in deal execution, including legal counsels, netroadshow, auditors, trustees/fiscal agents, and others.

Candidate Criteria

Education

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) or equivalent.
• Preferred fields: Accounting, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience.
• Prior experience in capital markets products is an advantage.
• Prior experience using Bloomberg intensively is an advantage.
