Programme Overview

MUFG Bank, Ltd. Hong Kong Branch offers a Summer Internship Programme designed to give you an immersive experience of working at MUFG and help you decide where you want to take your career.

Internship opportunities are available in the Global Corporate Banking stream. You will work alongside corporate banking colleagues supporting relationship management, client analysis, and the development of solutions for local and multinational corporate clients. The role provides exposure to cross-border business, internal product partners, and disciplined, risk-aware decision-making.

What You Will Do

• Support research on clients, industries, markets, and relevant economic developments.
• Assist with preparation of client materials, account planning, and internal presentations.
• Help analyze client needs across financing, trade, cash management, treasury, and cross-border banking services.
• Coordinate with product, risk, compliance, and operations stakeholders to support client-related work.
• Contribute to projects that improve client coverage, data quality, or team effectiveness.

Job Requirements

• Penultimate-year students from a reputable university with strong academic results.
• Students pursuing Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other relevant disciplines are preferred.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Demonstrated commercial awareness and an interest in corporate clients, financial markets, and cross-border banking solutions.
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese is required; fluency in Mandarin would be an advantage.
• Self-motivated with a genuine interest in pursuing a career in corporate banking and relationship management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct research and present information clearly.
• Willingness to learn, take ownership, and demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude.
