Churchill Summer Internship: Fund Accounting

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Review quarterly trial balance and key supporting schedules, including cash and positions reconciliations.
• Review investor allocations, including capital call and distribution calculations and capital account statements.
• Review carried interest calculations.
• Review and tie out quarterly financial statements.
• Log received invoices and update internal expense trackers.
• Support ad hoc requests from the Investor Relations and Operations teams.

Requirements

• Preferred candidate is a rising Senior (Class of 2028) or rising Junior (Class of 2029) expected to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Strong attention to detail; carefully review facts and figures, quickly identify errors, and ensure consistency of information.
• Superior Excel skills, with demonstrated ability to express complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills, with effective strong active listening.
• Proven track record of success collaborating in a fast-paced, results-driven team environment.
• Innovative and creative thinker; ability to connect previously unrelated notions and project how potential ideas may play out.
