Churchill Summer Internship: Portfolio Analytics

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Build portfolio summary data and analytics.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing data and propose data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Calculate, review, and deliver performance metrics and investment track records.
• Use defensive and offensive analytics to identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive opportunity identification.
• Provide data support to Churchill’s Investor Solutions Group & Client Services team for investor requests, DDQs, RFPs, and management reporting.

Requirements

• Preferred candidate is a rising Junior or rising Senior (Class of 2028 or 2029), expected to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computational Finance, Economics, Accounting, or another quant-focused curriculum.
• Strong technical skills with SQL, Python, and/or Power BI (or other data visualization tools), with demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Strong attention to detail: carefully review facts and figures, quickly identify errors, and ensure consistency of information.
• Familiarity with private credit markets, investment strategies, and asset classes is a plus.
• Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills, with effective active listening.
• Proven track record of success collaborating in a fast-paced, results-driven team environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to negotiate, influence, and build credibility.
• Innovative and creative thinker with the ability to connect previously unrelated concepts and anticipate how ideas may play out.
