About the Division

The Corporate Bank is a market leader in cash management, lending, trade finance, trust and agency services, securities services, and risk management for FX and Rates. We have deep client relationships, and our client solutions connect directly to the real economy.

Products

• Cash Management: Delivers a wide range of innovative payment and cash management related products to corporates and non-bank financial institutions.
• Trade Finance & Lending: Covers the full range of corporate lending solutions and provides solutions related to imports, exports, or domestic trade transactions.
• Trust & Agency Services: Delivers a wide range of Agency and Fiduciary services to Capital Markets instruments, and provides a full range of Depositary Bank services to global equity issuers, investors, and brokers.
• Securities Services: Provides custody, clearing, and settlement services in 30+ markets across the globe.

Coverage

Our Coverage team manages the Corporate Bank’s key client relationships across the full suite of Corporate and Investment Bank products.

Central

The Central team works closely with business divisions and infrastructure functions to execute strategy, enabling the bank to operate safely and be commercial.

Within each area, you will have the opportunity to perform multiple roles such as Sales, Product Management, Client Service & Delivery, or Business Management.

About the Role

Interns are given the opportunity to learn about the business from different viewpoints, providing a career advantage. You will receive formal training and be placed on one of the Corporate Bank teams, working in day-to-day business as well as on special projects. You will build relationships and learn from Corporate Bank professionals across the organization and the globe, gaining insight into the truly global nature of this business and its clients. You will contribute to the innovation of new ideas to help clients and colleagues achieve their goals.

You will gain experience across various products and functions and discover market-leading solutions firsthand. You will also learn about innovative technological solutions we are developing. The internship is an ideal way to understand whether a career in Corporate Bank aligns with your needs and aspirations.

What We Look For

We recruit students and graduates who are intelligent and adaptable, with excellent communication skills. You may have degrees in many different disciplines. While good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you will not necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background. Our comprehensive training programs will provide the technical knowledge needed to build a career with us.

Eligibility — 2027 Internship Program

To be eligible for the 2027 Internship Program, you must:

• Complete your studies (all final exams and coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1 December 2027 and 31 July 2028.
• Demonstrate the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

Compensation

The annualized salary for this position is $100,000. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
