About the Division

Group Strategic Analytics (GSA) is responsible for the development and delivery of quantitative analytics across the Deutsche Bank Group. Our Quantitative Strategists cover model development, implementation, and execution—producing analytical frameworks and applications and collaborating with technology and business partners to solve business problems.

GSA owns the research, development, integration, and automation of all Trading & Sales pricing models, playing a critical role in ensuring accuracy, stability for pricing, and support for risk management and capital calculations.

About the Role

Interns learn about the business through hands-on experience. You will gain a meaningful understanding of the work we do, our team culture, and develop your quantitative skills through real-world application.

You may work on one large project for the duration of the internship or on a series of smaller projects, similar to the experience of a full-time team member. You will use your quantitative and programming skills to deliver impactful research and implement real solutions.

You’ll also experience a fast-paced, agile culture, with opportunities to meet and engage with leaders across the organization.

What We Look For

  • Students and graduates who are intelligent and adaptable, with excellent communication skills.
  • Must be studying a post-graduate specialist degree (MSc or PhD) in a quantitative subject such as mathematics, engineering, physics, computer science, economics, or finance.
  • Strong quantitative skills and the ability to express ideas verbally, mathematically, and through code.
  • A record of outstanding academic achievement and a strong desire to continue learning at an intensive pace.
  • Thrives in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimize workflows to solve business problems, applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

Eligibility (2027 Quant Internship Program)

  • Complete your studies (all final exams and coursework) and have no outstanding requirements for graduation between 1 December 2027 and 31 July 2028.

The internship will start in June 2027 and have a duration of 10 weeks.

Annualized Salary

The annualized salary for this position is $110,000. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
