What You Will Do

COO Office Digital AI

• Assist in creating and distributing reports on digital and AI initiatives, including digital tool penetration, and share insights with stakeholders and territories.
• Support the preparation of PowerPoint presentations for senior management, focusing on updates to the digital and AI roadmap, particularly for quarterly SteerCo meetings.
• Assist in analyzing internal insights and user feedback to evaluate adoption and perception of AI and digital tools.
• Contribute to drafting and distributing a monthly newsletter featuring AI tips and “prompt of the month” to encourage adoption of the internal AI assistant across Global Banking APAC.
• Support the creation of an AI prompt library by collecting and compiling use cases of the internal AI assistant across Global Banking APAC.
• Support ad-hoc marketing and communication efforts to promote digital solutions internally and externally (e.g., NOA, the virtual assistant), to help increase adoption.

COO Office Risk & Governance

• Provide support across topics such as AML/Sanctions/KYC/KYX for Global Banking and Transaction Banking (Cash, Trade, Supply Chain), including process maintenance, monitoring, implementation of new policy, or setting up frameworks (e.g., PSP AML framework).
• Support contingency projects, including simulations and analysis of transaction profiles and risk.
• Support transversal topics such as Conduct, Conflict of Interest, Voice Recording, including data mapping and updates as required.
• Support other ad-hoc tasks (e.g., Quarterly Filiere Governance).
• Review processes and propose automation solutions (e.g., macros).
• Coordinate and manage the Transaction Approval Committee (TAC) / New Activity Committee (NAC) process across GB APAC, including liaising with stakeholders, input into TAC/NAC systems, progress tracking, and related ad-hoc tasks.

Coverage

• Support in preparing client presentation materials, pitch books, and internal meeting memos.
• Research and analyze companies and industries (e.g., financial statement analysis and secondary research to extract market data).
• Support team members in execution of deals, including documentation.
• Assist with KYC, onboarding documentation, and other administrative tasks.
• Support team members on specific ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Corporate Development & Sustainability Finance

• Support ESG Commercial Engagement mobilization.
• Analyze corporate ESG data in the context of client engagement.
• Map client sustainability approaches and commitments.
• Conduct peer analysis and sustainability benchmarking.
• Assist in preparation of engagement materials.
• Support thematic content building (including “Global MNCs Approach”).

Credit Management

• Support credit management and assist credit analysts in fulfilling their responsibilities.
• Assist with ongoing Southeast Asia credit follow-up matters.
• Enhance automated reporting as needed, including data extraction for monitoring annual reviews for credit files.
• Under the guidance of credit analysts, assist with financial spreadsheets/analysis and processing of credit files, including preparation of files ahead of credit committees.

Industry Groups – Sector

• Focus on the Low-Carbon Transition Group (LCTG), including Power, utilities & renewables, low-carbon fuels and carbon capture, as well as Metals, mining & batteries.
• Deliver end-to-end advisory solutions, from deal origination and valuation to structuring and integration.
• Conduct comprehensive research on companies, industries, market trends, and institutional investors relevant to the low-carbon transition.
• Perform valuation analyses, including DCF financial modelling and comparable company/transaction analysis.
• Analyze market data, build detailed financial models, and prepare valuation analyses for mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and capital markets advisory transactions.
• Prepare client-ready presentation decks and pitch books for M&A and other strategic advisory assignments.
• Assist senior bankers throughout the full transaction life cycle, from origination and pitching through valuation and due diligence during live deals, to closing and post-deal integration.

Loan Capital Markets

• Analyze market data, company financials, and peer group analysis.
• Build and sensitize financial and valuation models.
• Prepare client presentations for origination and structuring of financing and capital markets transactions.
• Prepare credit proposals to support underwriting and assist in arranging and participating in transactions.
• Assist in managing client transactions from pitch to close under the guidance of senior team members.

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)

• Support origination and execution of M&A and fund-raising transactions for corporate clients across sectors.
• Analyze market data.
• Build financial and valuation models.
• Prepare client presentations for M&A and fund-raising.
• Assist in managing client transactions from pitch to close under the guidance of senior team members.
