Nationwide Opportunities — Please Read: This role may appear to be located in Purchase, NY, but internships and full-time hires are placed nationwide across both field and headquarters locations, including field locations.
Responsibilities
As part of the HR team at PepsiCo, you will help create a culture that encourages teamwork, decision-making, and ownership of business results. Full-time HR Representatives serve as HR generalists within a manufacturing, operations, or sales client group. In partnership with the lead HR Manager or Director, the HR Representative supports an employee base of approximately 400 to 1,000 associates.
You will have real responsibility day one, serving as a functional expert, business partner, and enabler for the organization through a strategic approach that leverages your academic knowledge and personal capabilities.

Key responsibilities
- Understand business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective
- Accurately diagnose organization issues, develop solutions, and implement action plans
- Support and guide Unit Leaders, Team Leaders, and Employees on Company policies and HR program administration to ensure consistent and timely handling of policies and procedures
- Assist leadership in managing performance and developing succession plans
- Ensure HR activities comply with all applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, and FLSA)
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
- Communicate confidently (written and verbal) and present effectively to all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources (other related majors will be considered)
- Self-starter with passion and drive to win
- Resilience and adaptability to solve problems
- Ability to discern priorities and remain organized as business needs evolve
- Strong work ethic and heightened sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
- Proven leadership throughout your academic career (on- or off-campus)
- Previous internship experience in consumer products or a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours as necessary
- Ability and willingness to relocate at the time of hire and as your career progresses within the organization
Minimum Qualifications
- Limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
- Graduate with a Master’s (or MBA) degree within one (1) year of internship completion
- GPA of 2.75 or higher
Compensation & Benefits
The expected hourly pay range for hires into the 2027 campus intern openings is $34.30 – $43.50. Starting salary determination considers role, degree discipline, degree level, and location. Hourly pay for campus hires is pre-determined and non-negotiable.
