Engineer, Smart Security & Automation (1 yr FTC)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, perform UAT, and deploy Security Access Control System infrastructure solutions across hybrid/multi-cloud environments, including on-premise virtualization and/or hyperconverged solutions.
• Create architecture artifacts and documentation to explain and present solution designs to stakeholders.
• Perform System Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with stakeholders.
• Implement networking, servers, and system products.
• Conduct requirements specifications and prepare project documentation, including configuration documentation and single-line diagrams for implementations.
• Prepare and conduct User Acceptance Tests (UAT), including test documentation.
• Additional responsibilities (may be assessed but are not mandatory), if the candidate has relevant skills and experience:
  • Implementation of system high availability, network infrastructure, next-generation firewall, and security.
  • Implementation of high availability servers, OS, and database clustering for Linux and/or Microsoft Windows.
  • Implementation of storage and backup systems.
  • Implementation of system monitoring and management.
  • Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP, and IAM/IDM systems.
  • Implementation of multi-site and/or disaster recovery (DR) sites.
  • Backup, restoration, and DR switch/failover.

Requirements / Skills

• Experience with networking, storage, compute, and security deployments.
• CISSP or CEH certifications (added advantage).
• Cisco networking certifications (added advantage).
• VMware certifications (added advantage).
• Cybersecurity certifications (added advantage).
• Fast learner with a proactive attitude and strong attention to quality.

  • Experience with system hardening and VAPT.
