Job Description
Pay Rate: $20.00
Location / Division Specific Information
This is a Material Handler II role in the storage department on 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30pm–11:00pm.
Within the storage department, you will perform tasks such as retrieving material from manufacturing, transferring product to pallets, banding/wrapping product to pallets, storing pallets, staging trucks, and loading trucks. You will also use E1, Outlook, and Excel.
You will regularly use PIT equipment (power walkie, fork truck, pancake, stacker, and swing truck). In addition to daily tasks, you will participate in safety, quality, and process improvement initiatives.

A Day in the Life
- Process customer orders daily to meet their expectations.
- Work in one or more process paths: receiving, storing, picking, packing, or shipping.
- Prepare shipping documents, coordinate shipments with couriers, and ship materials (including finished products) per applicable SOPs.
- Ensure inventory is stored accurately.
- Work with your team to ensure a positive experience every day.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- Minimum of one year of general warehouse experience.
- One to two years’ experience working with computers and basic software packages, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers).
- Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Maintain knowledge of current import/export regulations as they relate to shipment of goods to and from the USA.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems independently and collaboratively.
- Self-motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to partner with colleagues across differing cultural, language, and educational backgrounds.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Close vision and ability to adjust focus required.
- Regularly required to lift up to 20 pounds. May be required to lift 45 pounds or more with assistance and/or equipment on occasion.
- Ability to work in different environments, such as frozen, refrigerated, and ambient/room temperature areas.
- Ability to work at different heights on powered industrial trucks such as an order picker.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $14.41–$21.61.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
