Department Overview
Rates Cash Middle Office provides trading support to the Sales and Trading group. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Analyst to join a dedicated, collaborative team who interact with Sales and Trading to provide trading support. The role is well-suited to an individual with strong interpersonal skills, who is responsive, and committed to serving their client group.
Role Description
- Provide daily support of traders specializing in Government & Agency Debt products.
- Interact daily with Trading, Sales, and other areas of Operations to facilitate trade processing (STP) from the front end through to settlement.
Key Objectives Critical to Success
- Provide a high level of client service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure high accuracy in trade verification with minimal errors expected.
- Manage multiple issues and effectively prioritize workload.
- Contribute to ongoing development of STP and the control environment.
Skills, Experience, Qualifications, and Knowledge Required
- 1 year of experience in general finance or a recent college graduate.
- Experience in trade capture and/or Fixed Income Operations; experience with a Primary Dealer or Major Financial Institution is a plus.
- Knowledge of Fixed Income products, Futures, and Derivatives is a plus.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
- Licenses: 7 & 63 helpful and willingness to obtain.
