The internship programme is full-time. Interns will be immersed in specialist functions and involved in real-time work from Day 1. Leave of Absence (LOA) may be required to take on the internship.

Listing Compliance

Team Overview

The Listing Compliance team monitors listed companies’ compliance with continuing listing obligations.

Learning Objectives

• Acquire knowledge of listing rules
• Learn how to apply listing rules and tailor them to specific circumstances of each case
• Develop an understanding of corporate actions such as placements, rights issues, acquisitions and disposals
• Build analytical skills and soft skills, including interpersonal skills, teamwork and presentation competency

Job Description

• Report to the Team Leader and Head, Listing Compliance, and manage a portfolio of listed issuers
• Monitor compliance with listing rules and liaise with issuers and relevant professionals on regulatory matters
• Process simple to moderate corporate actions within the relevant timeframe
• Review financial statements and annual reports
• Attend meetings for portfolio companies and maintain minutes of discussions
• Provide support to team members

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Meticulous attention to detail
• Some knowledge in Accounting or Finance
• Interest in reading
• Good command of English, including writing short memorandums
• Analytical thinking
• Good presentation skills
