Citi Markets is looking for a Summer Analyst to join the Markets team in Hong Kong. Citi Markets provides world-class products and financing solutions for corporations, governments, as well as institutional and retail investors through our underwriting, sales and trading, and distribution capabilities. Our broad product knowledge and on-the-ground local markets expertise—coupled with complementary strengths in technology and distribution—allow us to offer clients a wide range of comprehensive financial solutions. Our breadth and depth span asset classes and currencies, sectors and industries. Our expertise covers Equities, Rates, Credit, and Foreign Exchange (FX).
Who we’re looking for
You are a penultimate-year student with a Master’s or Undergraduate degree, in any discipline, from a top academic institution, working toward a competitive GPA and graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
Your time here will look like this
The Markets Summer Analyst Program is for 10 weeks, consisting of two rotations in various trading and sales desks within Citi Markets. The program includes orientation, classroom training, self-learning opportunities, lecture series, networking events, and more. It is designed to help summer interns assimilate into the Citi Markets organization, strengthen their markets knowledge and technical skills, and enrich their overall learning experience. Interns are expected to work closely with their Program Managers and Business Managers during the internship period.

- You are proficient in programming languages (VBA, Python) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

- You are intellectually curious and proactively seek out new and creative ideas.
- You are a self-starter who thrives both independently and in a collaborative team, with a strong commitment to personal growth and career development, including mobility and flexibility.
