Citi Markets is looking for a Summer Analyst to join the Markets team in Singapore. Citi Markets provides world-class products and financing solutions for corporations, governments, and institutional and retail investors through our underwriting, sales and trading, and distribution capabilities. Our broad product knowledge and local market expertise—coupled with strengths in technology and distribution—allow us to offer clients a wide range of comprehensive financial solutions. Our expertise spans equities, rates, credit, and foreign exchange (FX).

We are seeking penultimate-year students with a Master’s or Undergraduate degree from a top academic institution, with a competitive GPA, graduating between December 2027 and June 2028. Your time here will look like this

The Markets Summer Analyst Program lasts 10 weeks and includes two rotations in various trading and sales desks within Citi Markets. It also includes orientation, classroom training, self-learning opportunities, lecture series, and networking events. The program is designed to help interns assimilate into Citi Markets, strengthen market knowledge and technical skills, and enrich the overall learning experience. Interns are expected to work closely with their Program and Business Managers during the internship period.

What we are looking for

  • You have exceptional analytical and quantitative skills to tackle complex challenges.
  • You demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork, and communication abilities.
  • You have a good understanding of finance and an interest in Markets.
  • You are proficient in programming languages (VBA, Python) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail and planning/organizational abilities.
  • You are intellectually curious and proactively seek new and creative ideas.
  • You are a self-starter who thrives both independently and in a collaborative team, with a commitment to personal growth and career development, including mobility and flexibility.
  • You demonstrate an unwavering commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making.
