You will take a lead role in acquiring, managing, and retaining meaningful relationships with clients, offering thoughtful solutions to address their financial needs and contribute to the branch’s success.
Job responsibilities
- Put clients first and exceed their expectations by delivering attentive, friendly service in a welcoming environment.
- Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them in person and over the phone to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
- Communicate clearly and consultatively to understand client needs, build trust, ask questions, listen, and anticipate needs.
- Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help with banking needs anytime, anywhere, and in any way.
- Learn products, services, and procedures quickly to effectively consult on banking solutions and connect clients to our team of experts for specialized financial needs.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with a track record of establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
- Ability to create memorable client experiences and elevate the client experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with the ability to tailor features and benefits to clients with varying needs.
- Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail, ensuring a consistent client experience.
- Operate within established risk parameters and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training.
- High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- Minimum licensing requirements: Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, with study materials and support provided.
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- College degree or military equivalent.
- Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory & licensing
This position is subject to Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Offers are contingent on review of criminal history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and other information relevant to evaluating financial responsibility and fitness. Felony convictions within the last seven years will disqualify. Employment is contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank Loan Originator requirements.
Active employment requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon starting, you will be required to register or update your existing NMLS registration to reflect employment with JPMorgan Chase. Compliance with the SAFE Act, including timely renewal and updates, is required for continued employment. Information obtained during registration or through NMLS may impact employment.
