2027 Human Resources Analyst Development Program – Summer Analyst – Hong Kong

The Human Resources function is vital to our business success, working closely with leaders, managers, and employees across the company. Our Human Resources Analyst Development Program (HRADP) is the premier entry‑level program designed to accelerate your career as a future leader in Human Resources.

Joining us means becoming part of a collaborative, supportive, and high‑performing team. The program equips you with the tools needed for success, including training, mentoring, access to subject matter experts, and high‑impact projects that challenge and enhance your skills.

This 9‑week internship serves as a talent pipeline for our full‑time, 2‑year rotational Human Resources Analyst Development Program.

The program offers comprehensive training, unique networking opportunities, and meaningful day‑to‑day work. You’ll have the chance to apply your knowledge and make a significant impact while gaining hands‑on experience supporting our various lines of business (Asset & Wealth Management, Commercial & Investment Banking) or our Corporate functions. You’ll learn traditional Human Resources practices, including recruiting, talent development, compensation, and employee relations. Additionally, you’ll be immersed in cutting‑edge HR capabilities, such as data literacy, design thinking, and other commercial skills.

Successful interns may receive an offer for the 2028 full‑time Human Resources Analyst Development Program, gaining exposure to three different teams across the function.

Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to strategies and projects in areas such as compensation, recruiting, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Develop in‑depth HR acumen across areas like Talent and Employee Experience, HR Global Operations, Total Rewards, Conduct, and Policy.
  • Support aligned teams with initiatives and day‑to‑day work to help the business and our employees thrive.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Pursuing a degree qualification with a well‑rounded academic background and expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • An interest in Human Resources, evidenced through coursework, internships, and/or extracurricular activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Understanding of key HR trends and issues.
  • Interest in working with data, conducting data analysis, and driving projects independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative work environment.
  • Holding the right to work and necessary work authorizations is advantageous. Note that relocation assistance for flight and accommodation is not provided, and work visa sponsorship is not available.
