Position
We’re currently looking for a high-caliber professional to join our team as AML Compliance Risk Management Analyst – Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Compliance AML Execution Analyst 2 - C10) based in Hong Kong. We’ll provide you with resources to meet your unique needs, empower you to make healthy decisions, and help manage your financial well-being to plan for your future.
Position Summary
The Execution Analyst 2 is an intermediate role responsible for performing risk and compliance reviews in coordination with the broader Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team. The objective is to apply in-depth AML knowledge to review, analyze, and conduct effective due diligence and investigations on higher-risk cases that may pose a risk to Citi.
Responsibilities
- Perform AML investigations for the country team in accordance with FIU operating procedures and local regulations.
- Collect and analyze documents to identify unusual transaction patterns.
- Interact with relevant units and the business regarding investigations and other ad-hoc projects.
- Recommend filing of SARs as appropriate, and track recommendations and account closures as required.
- Manage AML investigation volumes and escalate potential issues when appropriate.
- Assist in the execution of Manager’s Control Assessment (self-assessment).
- Provide country-specific AML investigation/SAR metrics to the oversight team.
- Identify and escalate potential risks to the FIU lead.

- 1–3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of AML and related regulations
- Ability to work independently, initiate actions, and complete tasks with limited direction
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good decision-making abilities
- Strong sense of responsibility and well-organized
- Proficient computer skills; knowledge of data analytics tools is a bonus
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in English and Chinese
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
