Funding and Liquidity Analyst, Capital Markets (London)

Job Description

This role is part of European Business Client Services Operations, supporting pre and post-trade deal processing for RBC Capital Markets Foreign Exchange and Money Market trading businesses and its clients. This operations role serves as a first line of defense to the trading businesses, ensuring accurate books and records are maintained while providing a seamless client experience.

This is a permanent, full-time role requiring four days in the 100 Bishopsgate, London office.

What You Will Do

• Monitor intraday Nostro Cash Positions for RBC EMEA.
• Update Cash positions to include manual movements across all asset classes.
• Check that positions are accurate and advise the Front Office within predefined deadlines.
• Perform intraday reconciliation of Nostro accounts and identify same-day Cash Breaks.
• Investigate same-day cash exceptions, download cases over designated limits, and liaise with the CMRG London Supervisor/trading desk before making any positional adjustments.
• Act as liaison and support for the Nostro Toronto team for RBC London and Europe-based investigations.
• Act as the liaison point and provide support to London Operations regarding general Nostro queries and cash exceptions.
• Manage the CAPS payment system, ensuring all funding is released within deadlines.
• Perform monthly attestation on all accounts owned by Cash Management.

Nice-to-Have

• Demonstrated experience in Cash Management and Nostro accounting.
• Nostro Cash Reconciliation experience.
