How KPMG interviews
KPMG UK runs every early-careers programme through a four-stage process, published on its application process page: a 45-minute application form built around a non-assessed job-preview quiz, two online assessments (an untimed skills test with a suggested 20-minute window, plus a 36-minute timed cognitive assessment of numerical and logical reasoning), a 40-minute recorded video interview in which six pre-recorded questions are asked by an AI avatar named Leah and the answers are reviewed by a Student Recruitment team member, and a final in-person half-day Launch Pad event combining group activities with the final interview.
Successful Launch Pad candidates receive an offer within two working days. With Launch Pad slots batched across roughly nine fixed dates spanning November to the following July, the speed at which a candidate clears stages two and three determines which Launch Pad date is assigned, so a delayed application can land after the office and function applied to have already issued offers earlier in the cycle.
