The Policy and Compliance Analyst will provide a technical lens to the business operations team, assisting our organization in making critical and informed decisions regarding policy creation and enforcement, risk assessment, fraud mitigation, and platform policy compliance.

Role Description

This role requires significant interaction with various groups across Apple Ads, including Business Operations, Policy, Product, Engineering, and Privacy teams. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling large datasets, modeling, detailed analysis, and preparing written presentations. They must possess a strong understanding of market trends and competitive platforms, excelling in research, critical thinking, and creatively interpreting data.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in policy enforcement or digital fraud mitigation is ideal.
• Demonstrated experience delivering data-driven insights.
• Strong research skills with the ability to evaluate competitive platforms and markets.
• Ability to perform data mining to investigate policy or fraud activities.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, a team-oriented approach, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in querying, modeling, slide preparation, and presentation delivery.
• Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
• Extensive, demonstrable quantitative experience.
• Proficiency in SQL querying.

Preferred Qualifications

• An academic qualification in Computer Science or an equivalent quantitative degree, or relevant academic experience in statistics.
• Mastery of Keynote and Excel/Numbers.
• Inquisitive nature with the ability to navigate ambiguity concerning policy and regulations.
• Ability to distill new information and make decisions based on multiple available factors and options.
• Proactive, self-directed, solution-oriented, and keen to share knowledge with others.
