As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins by obtaining your necessary Securities Industry licenses. You will receive personalized training for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. Once licensed, you will learn the foundational skills of an advisor—from building client relationships to guiding clients through complex financial pictures with humanizing advice.

After reaching key milestones, you will work within a financial center, helping deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions. Upon demonstrating success as a FSA I, you typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, deepening relationships within a client portfolio. Our Academy provides dedicated programs and resources throughout your career journey.

Note: This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. All employees engaging in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in immediate termination.

  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, confidently deliver client reviews/presentations, and recommend strategies to meet clients' financial goals.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients with the full suite of solutions available at Bank of America and Merrill.

  • Aptitude for obtaining required industry licenses.
  • Self-discipline in managing time and capacity effectively.
  • Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions.
  • Success in building strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client interests in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology or applications.

Desired Qualifications

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.

Job Details

Schedule: Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays required

Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)

Hours Per Week: 40

Compensation and Location

Location: US - NY - New York - 750 3rd Ave (NY5160)

Pay Range: $28.85 - $33.65 hourly pay (Offers determined based on experience, education, and skill set).

Compensation Type: This role is compensated with a base salary and is not incentive eligible.
