Capital Markets and Advisory (CMA)

CMA was established in 2023 to create a single center of excellence for our leveraged, acquisition, and event-driven financing across Wholesale Banking.

CMA consists of:

• Acquisition Finance
• Corporate Finance (M&A and Debt & Capital Advisory)
• Global Capital Markets (Debt Capital Markets & Asset Securitization)
• Loan Distribution Group (Loan Syndicate & Loan Sales)

Responsibilities

• Analyze market data, comparables, and trends to provide guidance on pricing and structures for a variety of transaction scenarios.
• Support transaction execution, backing commercial efforts across the CMA platform.
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials.
• Support senior originators with pitching and execution of mandates.
• Present thoughtful recommendations and analyses within and across teams.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Strong presentation and communication skills, both orally and written, with the ability to express ideas in a persuasive, organized, and articulate manner.
• Financial modeling and credit writing exposure are helpful, but not required.
• Strong networking skills, both internally and external to the firm.
• Genuine team player who gets things done and helps others to be successful.
• Candidate must have no work restrictions (legally able to work in the United States) and must be able to travel and work at any moment when given notice.
• Experience with Bloomberg and other market data sources is preferred.
• Candidate will be required to successfully complete FINRA regulatory examinations covering the SIE, Series 79, and Series 63.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and especially Excel).
• The position is located in ING’s New York City office and will require the candidate to be in the office 4 days a week.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $105,000. The salary range listed reflects base salary only. This role is eligible for participation in a discretionary bonus program.
