2028 Capital Markets Advisory: Structured Capital Solutions Summer Analyst Program – New York

The Evercore New York Structured Capital Solutions (“SCS”) Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week intensive program designed to provide highly motivated students with hands-on experience developing innovative bespoke capital solutions for clients across various industries.

SCS advises public and private companies, management teams, and alternative asset managers on financing and capital formation strategies, with a specific focus on opportunities supported by high-quality assets, contractual obligations, or predictable cash flows.

Our Practice Areas

Our work spans a broad range of financing solutions:

• Securitizations: Allowing clients to access capital markets by financing pools of assets or contractual/highly predictable cash flows.
• High-Grade JV Partnerships: Enabling companies to raise capital against high-quality contract assets that receive beneficial accounting and ratings treatment.
• Direct-to-Insurance Financings: Providing bespoke access to long-duration institutional capital from insurance and private credit investors.

More broadly, we help clients access differentiated pools of capital (from debt to equity) and optimize their funding strategies tailored to their strategic objectives. SCS works across a diverse mandate of sectors, including consumer & retail, energy, financial institutions, healthcare, industrials, media, real estate, technology, telecom, and transportation. The underlying assets and cash flows are equally diverse, ranging from data centers, fiber networks, music royalties, vehicle fleets, consumer loans, and solar loans & leases.

Program Expectations

The Program seeks intelligent, mature, intellectually curious, and highly motivated individuals who are eager to work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. Summer analysts must also demonstrate:

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• A willingness to learn quickly and take on meaningful responsibility.

Specific Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029.
• Demonstrated excellence in academic coursework and leadership on campus.
• Strong interest in structured finance, securitization, asset-backed, and project-level financing.
• Curiosity in credit, capital structure, and how companies finance themselves.
• A high level of intellectual curiosity and a track record of problem-solving (independently or as part of a small team), with a desire to learn more about capital structure and capital allocation.
• Outstanding analytical, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
• An enthusiastic, outgoing, and achievement-oriented character with a strong work ethic.
