Role Impact and Experience

Those joining this role will develop operational internal audit skills through an internal audit-focused project, which exposes the auditor to various portfolios within the third line. You will gain hands-on audit experience, where you will develop the ability to identify and evaluate risk, business process controls, and/or technology controls across American Express.

As a summer intern, you'll have the opportunity to learn and apply our internal audit methodology while gaining an understanding of the American Express business model.
